Photoluminescence

What is it

The materials used by Tech Signs are the latest gereration of Strontium Aluminate pigments. These materials are derived from non-toxic, non-radioactive natural rare earth mineral crystals. These crystals possess the capacity to absorb and store energy when exposed to a UV light source. This energy is then released as visible light. This material also works well under fluorescent white UV, and incandecent and infrared light.

How long does it last

The afterglow characteristics of photoluminescent material is measured in microcandella per square meter (mcd/m²). The initial glow exceeds an intensity of 12,000 mcd/m² and will remain clearly visible for up to 12 hours
